  • You CHOOSE your behavior. And typically you choose behavior that rewards you in some way.
  • Reframe your thinking about food as a reward. Food is fuel. Food tastes good. Food is delicious and wonderful! But EATING food doesn’t cure the blues, doesn’t put money in the bank, doesn’t find you a new job, doesn’t make your house clean. 
  • You have to replace a BAD HABIT with a GOOD HABIT!
  • Decide that your body craves HEALTHY THINGS – whole foods, water, exercise.  Tell yourself this over and over and over and over. Ad nauseum.
  • Weigh yourself at the same time each time.  Weigh as often as works for you. Some people need to weigh every day. Some people need to weigh weekly, or monthly. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!
  • You will gain a pound or two right before your period. It’s water. Don’t panic. Wait a few days and see – it will go away!
  • If you need to detox, a cup of hot water with a half a lemon steeped in it works wonders!
  • Your body listens to your brain – and you have the power to control your thoughts! I promise!
